The hotel was reasonably spacious, and the meals were great, I really enjoyed the excellent and very convenience location so close to the shopping centres. The room was bright and reasonably sized, included with aall necessary amenities, all modern comfort plus sofa...

Welcoming and responsive staff, convenient location (near the subway, shopping center, restaurants).
The bathroom is small, the room wasn't always cleaned properly.

We chose the Royal Park Hotel because of its near position to the Chinese University of Hong Kong. After our experience of eight days we can recommend this hotel also as an excellent accomodation for discovering Hong Kong and to stay where Hong Kong people live, work, meet and shop. We appreciated very much the helpful and kind nature of the whole Royal Park Hotel staff and the people around this hotel.

Location is great for getting to shopping and restaurants catering to various budgets. I actually did not venture out of the Shatin area when the kids went off to Disney; I had enough to occupy myself with. Staff are great...helped us with the huge suitcases when we arrived via the airport bus a41 which is about a 40m from the front entrance. And when we left, staff also helped to get the umpteen suitcases we had to the bus stop. We have stayed at this hotel 3 previous times.
Not a real complaint but wishful thinking that the hotel would supply a free shuttle to and from the airport. A reg. Taxi came to abt hkd 300 with charges for the tunnels and luggage. I believe the hotel has a shuttle for hkd 150 pp with a limit of one piece of luggage and one carry- on. The airport bus a41 costs hkd 30 ( I think!) pp with no limit on the amt. Of luggage.

The comfort of the room with warmth and contemporary design. The mattresses are of high quality with big soft pillows, eases the soar legs and back after a full day walks and travels around the city. Good sound proof room, and since our room was located on 11th floor, we enjoyed quite and relaxing evening, sleep through the night without disturbances. The hotel is also interlinks with The New Town shopping mall and very near to the Sha Tin MTR station, which makes eat, shop and traveling very convenient for us.
The room rate is on the high side. We spent HK5280 for a triple room for 3 nights, which means HK1760/night, HK586/head/night. High cost for just a good night sleep...

Would recommend for a short stayover
Friendly staff, spacious room, with high standards of cleanliness and a wide selection of breakfast options. The convenience of being just a 5-minute walk from the MRT station.
Nothing could be improved.

With hong kongs transport system, it is the only place to stay you can get anywhere with in minutes & yet you are not in the hustle of the city. there are tranquil gardens on the side of the hotel with a canal leading in to the sea, town plaza adjoins the hotel with good budget resturants it is the only place to stay in my opinion The only draw back is the price of the hotel meals high quality & priced to match a single dinner is equivalent to a nights accommodation.

Lobby, restaurants and health club
We had a very small box room on the executive floor (1625). The bed was not long enough for a 6 foot man. The room was not representative of the pictures on the website and was considerably smaller than any of the others we saw (many friends stayed in the hotel at the same time as us). The executive lounge and floors were not worth the additional fee.

If you're a tidy person, do ask housekeeping to respect the 'do not disturb' sign. It helped me stay undisturbed during my busy days.
